"I spent much of my life hanging on the coat tails of my father, W.R. Lowdermilk. Either helping out in the hanger or extracting a downed aircraft from a watermelon patch. I can say that I've learned everything I know from him."

"I come from a long line of aviation professionals. My grandfather started it all by taking lessons from one Wiley Post. Which infected my father with the aviation bug and prompted him to start working for the local FBO as a lineman at the age of 16. He got his first production job at 18, where he covered the tail surfaces of the Lockheed Connie with fabric. He went on to be a partner in a Mooney dealership. He now manufactures composite floorboards for the Boeing 700 series and Saab commercial aircraft."

"I ventured out on my own in 1996 with the venture, Associated Accessories. I later changed the name to Martin Air Technologies. It started out as a Repair Station. But, changes in the electrical accessory industry made it unfruitful to continue as a Repair Station. Martin Air Technologies is now a restoration and builder assistance specialist. Which is really what I always wanted to do in the first place."
